The Migration Seminar is a multidisciplinary forum for researchers from all faculties at Malmö University with an interest in migration, integration, diversity and related issues.

Research projects

Research at MIM is divided between projects that ethnographically and statistically engage with the lives of migrants and projects dealing with representations of migration in for example the media, museums, minority groups and public attitudes.

Current MIM research projects

Guest Professorship

The Willy Brandt Guest Professorship is a fully financed research position at MIM. The current holder is Per Mouritsen, PhD (EUI), MA (Warwick, Aarhus) is an associate professor of Political Science at Aarhus University.
