PhD in Physical Chemistry. 1997, Saint-Petersburg. Title of the Thesis: "Thermodynamic Stability and Phase Equilibria in System n-Propanol - Acetic acid - Water - n-Propylacetate." Supervisor: professor A.M.Toikka

Docent (Associate professor). 2007, Malmö. The docent lecture "Calorimetry in biomedical science: hydration of biomolecules" was given 21 November 2007.
