International Master's programme

The international Master's programme in Dental Science at Malmö University offers international dental professionals the opportunity to carry out qualified studies at the Faculty of Odontology, leading to a Master of Dental Science (MDSc) degree. This programme is offered only as commissioned education.

International Master's programme in Dental Science (2 years, full time)

The purpose of the two-year international Master's programme is to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in their major subject, dentistry, with special focus on a subarea. The programme will also provide the student with basic research training and the experience of independently planning and executing a research project under guidance from an experience researcher.  After graduating from the programme, the student should be able to: review scientific literature; participate in planning and conducting research and development within the profession; and function as a resource dentist in the selected clinical subarea. The Master’s degree also qualifies the student for further postgraduate studies towards e.g. PhD.
