School of Arts and Communication (K3)

Stadsfabula research project at K3

We are also called 'K3' after the School's Swedish name, 'Konst, kultur och kommunikation'.

At K3 we combine traditional scholarship and academic knowledge with artistic methods and practical skills. In our teaching and research, the subjects of art, technology, design and communication converge in new and innovative ways.

We focus on user-driven education and research and collaborative projects that challenge traditional boundaries. At K3 there is an emphasis on openness and creativity, always in combination with critical analysis and social consciousness.

Join our 20th anniversary celebration

Since 1998, K3 has brought together culture, technology, design and communication in new and innovative ways. We work with interdisciplinary education and research that combines traditional scientific and academic theory with artistic methods and practices. To celebrate the University’s 20th anniversary, we’re inviting students, alumni, collaborative partners and Malmö locals to take part in open talks and new encounters.
