Study and career advisers

I need study guidance - what help can I get and who should I contact?

There are many study and career advisers at Malmö University. Some work with study guidance for prospective students at the Student Centre and some work as study and career advisers at the faculties, for current students.

You are welcome to make an appointment with one of our study and career advisers for guidance and counselling on education and career choices.

If you have general questions about academic education and careers, please contact the study and career advisers at the Student Centre.

If you have specific questions about your current studies please contact the study and career adviser at your faculty or department.

How do I make an appointment with a study and career adviser?

If you wish to make an appointment with a study and career adviser at the Student Centre, please call us during our phone hours.

Drop-in study guidance at the Student Centre, how does it work?

At our drop-in, you can get help with short questions of a more general nature.
Please note that if you have more specific questions regarding your course or programme; contact the Study and Career Adviser at your faculty/department.

The study guidance service at the Student Centre is open Monday -Thursday 11.30-12.30 Address: Neptuniplan 7 / Matrosgatan 1. There are special opening hours during the summer.

Can I get help with writing my CV and applying for jobs?

Careers Service provides students with proper tools and support via CV & Career Workshops, access to our job portal and other activities.

What is the Student Centre?

The Student Centre is a service facility for all students at Malmö University, no matter what you are studying. The staff at the Student Centre can help you with matters such as health issues, housing, exchange studies, support for students with disabilities, study and career guidance, application, admission and graduation.
