More first-time applicants are choosing international programmes than before

Annual statistics show that the number of first time applicants to international programmes and courses has gone up two percent from last year.

More than 3000 people applied for English taught programmes and courses starting autumn 2018 at Malmö University. Of these, 1186 were first time applicants — a significant increase compared to last year’s numbers.

Another positive is that students also have more to choose from. The University’s offerings when it comes to international programmes and courses have also increased, from a total of 15 to 17.

The most popular master’s programmes continue to be Leadership for Sustainability and Communication for Development. Among bachelor’s programmes, International Relations was a clear favourite, with 550 applicants.
