Hi Student - Welcome to the Library

Library card

You can use your multicard as library card. If you don’t yet have a multicard, you can get one in the card machine in Orkanen Library or at the faculty where you study. Read more about multicards.

  • You can borrow books and films for 3 weeks

You can search for course books and other literature in our library search Libsearch. You can also search for films, e-books and journals.

How to find a book in Libsearch:

The library holds one reference copy of all course books for use in the library only, these are marked EJ HEMLÅN (LIBRARY USE).

If the book you are looking for is out on loan, you can make a request. This can also be done in Libsearch and is free of charge.

The fine for overdue items is SEK 10 per book per day. Fines can be paid online, after you log in at your Library account. You can also pay by card at the Library Information Desk.
You can renew your books and films yourself at My Loans/Renew loans. You can also change your contact details here.
We send messages via e-mail, so please make sure we always have your correct e-mail address.
