Required Documents - Master's Programmes at Malmö University

An undergraduate degree and proof of English proficiency are the general entry requirements for master's studies at Malmö University.

Each master's programme or course may also have specific admission requirements in addition to these general entry requirements. Information about the specific requirements can be found on the programme/course page in the education catalogue.

Malmö University will only review your supporting documents for eligibility once your application has arrived. We do not make individual eligibility assessments via e-mail.

Undergraduate degree

Students applying for master's studies must have completed a bachelor's degree equivalent of 180 Swedish higher education credits. Students who do not hold the required degree, but are registered for the last semester of a programme leading to such a degree, may be accepted. An official document stating that they are likely to be awarded the degree by the start of the master programme must be sent in with the application.

University credentials - diploma and transcripts should always be official and certified. Enclose authorised translations if diplomas and transcripts are in a language other than the Nordic languages, English, French or German.

Transcript of records from Cameroon, Canada, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, or USA must always be sent directly from the issuing university.
