Fire protection and emergency evacuation

It is important that to know the emergency evacuation route for the building where you work or are temporarily located. There is an evacuation guide on each floor. The lifts must never be used during an emergency evacuation and for people with disabilities there are special evacuation sites. Be aware of where alarm buttons and fire extinguishers and other safety equipment are located.

Employees can both help prevent fires and aid the evacuation of a building by ensuring that escape routes are not blocked, doors to fire cells are not propped open and that there are no large quantities of flammable material left in open environments.
