Take the opportunity to nominate teacher representatives to Malmö University's Board!

On April 30, 2020, the Malmö University Board's mandate expires. A new board shall be appointed for a period of three years.

The Board includes three teacher representatives, elected by Malmö University staff. Anyone with permanent employment at Malmö University of at least 50 per cent, or with a temporary position with a duration of at least two years from the inauguration of the new University Board, is eligible to vote.

All employees at Malmö University now have the opportunity to nominate individuals to represent teachers on the University Board.

Nominations can be made during the month of October via email to the following address: ValUS2020@mau.se. The email must include the name of the candidate and a brief motivation as to why the person is deemed suitable to be a member of the University Board. You can, of course, nominate yourself or suggest colleagues.

The opportunity to nominate teacher candidates is part of Malmö University's endeavour to promote transparency and collegial influence in the election of the new board. Submitted nominations will be of great importance to the nomination committee appointed by Malmö University and with the task of proposing three teacher representatives and deputies to the new University Board.

The Nomination Committee includes:

 • Senior Lecturer Malin Axelsson, HS

• Senior Lecturer Magnus Andersson, KS

• Professor Johan R Norberg, LS (chair)

• Senior Lecturer Suzan Boztepe, TS

• Senior Lecturer Christel Larsson, OD

The election will take place electronically between February 24 – March 8, 2020, and all voters will receive a ballot by email. More information to follow.
