International Staff Training Week 2012

Malmö University invites staff from our Partner Universities to an:

International Staff Training Week for Administrative Staff

April 23 - 27 2012

The five day programme consists of workshops, networking opportunities, presentations and social events. Our aim is that the week will give both visiting participants and staff from Malmö university mutual benefit. In order to maximise the outcomes we will expect active participation from our visitors and hope that everybody will contribute to the planning and conduction of the workshops.


We especially invite staff with the following positions: 

  • Career Counsellors 
    Example of workshop themes: Social media, cooperation on career activities, Portfolio method in coucelling and start up of a network.

  • Communication/Information Officers
    Examples of workshop themes:     Social media, marketing and recruitment, research communication

  • International Coordinators
    Examples of workshop themes: Service package, returning outgoing students

  • Librarians
    Examples of workshop themes: Library environment communication & marketing, publishing, electronic resources
     

Cost

We do not charge any participation fee, but visitors will cover their own expenses for accommodation. Some meals are included in the programme.

Visiting participants from our Erasmus Partners are encouraged to use the Erasmus Mobility grant.

Particpants from INU - International Network of Universities can apply for INU Staff Shadowing Programme. The number of INU participants is limited to 5. For INU participants Malmö University will cover costs for accommodation, as stipulated in the INU Staff Shadowing Programme.

Application

Please fill in the online application as soon as possible, but no later than February 29th, 2012.

Selection of Applicants

The maximum number of participants is 30. If we receive more application there will be a selection process based on our possibility to find the best match for our Malmö colleagues, in order to maximise the outcomes of the week.
