Working as an educator means taking on the challenges of shaping the lives of individuals and empowering them to reach their full potential. At Malmö University we offer a wide range of education for students interested in teaching at all levels.

The Faculty of Education and Society provide four teaching degrees:

  • Pre-School education
  • Primary education (pre-school and years 1-3, years 4-6 and specialising in extended school)
  • Secondary education (years 7-9 and specialising in upper secondary school)
  • Vocational education

The faculty also offers sport science programmes, education in professional guidance counselling and programmes in special needs. All teaching degrees include subject study, courses in pedagogics and methods, and didactic and practical training in schools. The faculty offers education at basic, advanced and research levels, as well as education for professional development.

Close collaboration with an extensive network of partner schools and organisations - including several international schools - makes it possible for international students to finish internships and/or to include extended periods of educational experience as parts of their studies in Malmö.
