Quest University
Quest University overlooking the spectacular Tantalus mountain range and Howe Sound, Canada's southern-most fjord. Close proximity to both the city of Vancouver (1 hour) and Whistler Ski Resort (45 minutes), Quest campus includes 4 residence halls, library, academic building, university services building, and recreation centre "Green" buildings are geothermally heated and cooled.

In May and/or June 2012 Quest will offer summer schools.This summer school has no tutition fees but students will pay room and board to Quest.

Aalborg University

Frankfurt am Main in cooperation with two Europeans partners, the Rotterdam School of Business and the Zurich University of  Applied Sciences  have designed a 4 weeks program focussed on logistics, mobility, and sustainability.

European Summer University July, 2nd to July,27th 2012 Frankfurt am Main / Rotterdam / Zurich. The program is dedicated to give an interdisciplinary and practice oriented view on theses topics. Two excursions and several site visits will give additional insight into what has been learned in classes. The program is 6 ECTS credit worth.

Hong Kong 

Chinese University of Hong Kong International Summer School

'The 2012 ISS programme spans five weeks from end of June. Courses in business, engineering, humanities and social science will be offered, in addition to Putonghua and Cantonese.  These courses will be taught by academics from CUHK and overseas universities. All of these academics are excellent teachers and many of them are research frontrunners in their respective fields of study'.

Full-time undergraduates are welcome. 

Students pay an administrative fee, accommodation fee and caution money. There may be a course fee involved.

If you wish to apply for the Chinese University of Hong Kong International Summer School as a non-fee-paying student, please submit the following to Maria Kristiansson, no later than 20th March 2012:

  • A completed and printed Moveonline Application form
  • Exchange Application Record (from http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/osp/iss/index.html)
  • Transcript of Records (from Ladok)
  • Course Registration for Spring Semester 2012 (from Ladok)
  • Statement of Purpose, (a motivation letter including a justification for why you should undertake the CUHK International Summer School), max 500 words.

  • There is a maximum of 4 non-fee places available
  • We cannot guarantee accreditation for these courses upon return. Please discuss this with your programme responsible before start of the Summer School.

The following selection criteria will be followed: Academic merits from Malmö University and the Statement of Purpose.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the student will accept the following requirements:

  • To complete a student evaluation shortly after arriving home.
  • To actively participate in various information sessions on studying abroad after returning home.

Hacettepe University, Ankara Summer School 2012:
'Turkey: Where East meets West'
Hacettepe Summer School is a new course which aims to bring students from all parts of the world together.The course mainly focuses on the role of Turkey in international relations. A detailed summary of the content of the courses can be found in the course outline.

All participants will receive a certificate certifying their participation in the program and successful completion of the courses.

The fee for the summer course is 750 Euro

United Kingdom
University of the West of Scotland EU Summer School 2012

The EU Summer School provides you with the opportunity to study two modules on a full-time basis over a six week period. Students can study two modules from a range of options including Business, Computing, Business English, Career Planning and History of Scotland.

Induction and registration will take place Monday 9th July and the summer school will close Friday 17th August. Classes are during the day 9.30am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Thursday for six weeks.

Tuition is offered free of charge, however all students must pay £600 to cover the cost of accommodation and administration.
