Internships Abroad

Doing an internship abroad is a great way to gain work experience, make new contacts and to sharpen your CV!

Many students at Malmö University have the opportunity to do an Internship/ work placement abroad as part of their education. Contact your internship coordinator or the international internship officer at your school/faculty to discuss the possibility of Internship/work placement.

Administrative Internship Coordinator at Global Political Studies, Culture and Society:
Pernilla Skånstad

Moveonline  - online application portal

Go to Moveonline database to complete the application

IMPORTANT: If you are a student at the department of Global Political Studies: when the internship has been approved, you should put your information in Moveonline, then print the PDF and post/hand in or e-mail it to Pernilla Skånstad.

Insurance coverage during internships abroad

Please note that you are not automatically covered by Kammarkollegiet's Student UT insurance scheme during an internship abroad.

In order for you to be covered by the insurance scheme, Malmö University must have a documented agreement/contract with the company/organisation where you are doing your internship/work placement. An agreement will be created if you get your internship credited, and / or do an Erasmus Internship. Contact your international internship officer or your internship coordinator for more information.
