The School of Education has approximately 7,000 students making it the second largest institution for teacher education in Sweden. The city’s population of 280,000 is represented by a culturally diverse mix of 171 nationalities and 165 languages. This diversity with an inherited international and multicultural quality is further reflected by the school and its student body.
Education
Teacher training covers the whole educational spectrum, from pre-school teaching to the upper secondary school/high school levels. As well as teacher education, the school offers sports science programs, education in professional guidance counseling and other forms of training, including a special program for school principals.

The School of Education is the largest faculty of Malmö University. Close collaboration with a great number of partner schools - including several international schools - makes it possible for international students to finish internships and/or to include extended periods of educational experience as parts of their studies in Malmö.
