The building
The faculty´s premises contain:
- an E-section in the middle with the reception desk on the ground floor, the library on the first-third floor and a research department on the fourth floor
- an U-section at the right with a restaurant, the porter´s room, the student union´s office and a student kitchen on the ground floor and lecture halls, computer rooms and laboratories on the first-fourth floor
- an F-section at the left with the staff´s (administrators and lecturers) offices and workrooms
Change of address
If you change your address you should report this to the assistant within the department.

Computer rooms
Computer rooms in the U-section, U 202-203, U 211. To get into the computer rooms you need a multicard that you can get at a desk in the library or at the caretaker´s.
Disciplinary measures
A student who tries to cheat or deceive in tests, disturbs or hinders the educational programme, tests or other activities within the framework of the education, may be subject to disciplinary measures such as a warning or expulsion.
E-mail
User identity, password and an e-mail account can be collected at any of the university’s libraries; for example the library at Faculty of Health and Society or the main library Orkanen. Global log-in, which means that your home directory etc. is accessible throughout the university.

Student union
The student union for students at Malmö University is Studentkåren Malmö. Photocopying
A photocopier is available in the library.
Premises and communications
There are several bus connections to Faculty of Health and Society’s premises within the area of the University Hospital (SUS). The bus stop, Södervärn, is within walking distance to the premises.
Parking of your car/bike
Faculty of Health and Society has no parking spaces but there are public parking spaces not far from our premises. There is a multi-storey car park at Södra Förstadsgatan (SUS).There are bicycle stands for parking your bike.
Multicard
To get into the faculty building, when it´s not open to the public, and to get into the computer rooms you need a multicard. When you have this card you can get into the building Monday-Sunday 6.00-22.00. The card is used as an access keycard for the buildings at Malmö University, a library card for borrowing books from the university library, and is also used for copying and printing.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed within the university and hospital premises - smoking is allowed outdoors at certain appointed spaces within the hospital area.
Restaurant
There is a restaurant on the ground floor of Faculty of Health and Society.
Opening hours: Mo-Fr 7.30-16. Lunch is served 11-14.

Evacuation
In case of fire, a so-called evacuation alarm will sound. You are then to leave the premises and go to the assembly point indicated in the evacuation plan, outside Clinical Research Centre, the neighbour to Faculty of Health and Society. You find the evacuation plan beside the elevators and the stairs.
