Arrival to Malmö

When you arrive in Malmö there will be an Orientation Week beginning January 10thArrival Day is January 9th. During Orientation Week you will receive relevant practical information, apply for a Swedish social security number and meet fellow international students.

Computer ID-important!

Your computer identity gives you access to email, the campus network, It's Learning (read more below) etc. 
Get a computer ID. Contact a Help Desk if you need help with your computer ID.

Introduction meetings and registration

You will register for your courses/programmes at the introduction meeting. Information about the introduction meeting will be sent in an e-mail from Malmö University.

Find your schedule

Schedules will be posted no later than four weeks before the course/programme starts.

It's Learning - main hub of communication b/w student and professors 

It’s Learning is an electronic educational platform. This platform serves as the main hub of communication for courses and programmes. Amongst other things, you will find your timetable and up-to-date course information here.1-2 days after you have registered for your courses and picked up your computer ID, your courses will be shown in It's Learning.

Multicard - you need it for access, printouts and photocopies

You will need a multicard to access the computer rooms and enter our buildings after hours. You will also need the multicard for computer printouts and photocopies.

If you need support, advice and counselling  

The Student Centre offers support, advice and counselling in questions concerning e.g. studies, career, degree, admissions, housing, exchange studies, lifestyle, health, disability, dyslexia and scholarships. Welcome to the Student Centre!
