The Reverend Jesse Jackson will be keynote speaker at Equality Conference.

In a conference arranged in cooperation between Malmö University, the Center Against Racism, Afrosvenkarnas riksförbund and Malmö University's Student Union the theme of equality will be explored within the context of higher education.

The conference will take place on October 14th, at the Gäddan Building, Malmö University (Citadellsvägen 7). There is no fee and all are welcome.

The keynote speech will be given by the Reverend Jesse Jackson, in a morning session opened by Stefan Bengtsson, the Vice Chancellor of Malmö university, and Guido Guidos, President of Malmö University's student union.

In the afternoon, there will presentations commemorating the abolition of slavery in Sweden, poetry reading, and a short film will be shown. The conference will end with a mingle party at Malmö University's student union.
