Teaching Information Literacy
The Library offers instruction and courses on literature and information seeking for the various university courses and programs.
The overall purpose of the library courses is to empower the students by developing their ability to seek, assess and use information.
We offer instruction on:
- where and how to find different texts, e.g. database searching, search technology.
- how to distinguish between and critically evaluate different texts and their sources, such as scientific papers, dissertations, opinion pieces.
- where and how research is published.
- how to manage references to RefWorks.
An introduction to library services and resources is also available for booking.
