Required Documents - Master's Programmes at Malmö University
An undergraduate degree and proof of English proficiency are the general entry requirements for master's studies at Malmö University.
Each master's programme or course may also have specfic admission requirements in addition to these general entry requirements. Information about the specific requirements can be found on the programme/course homepage in the education catalogue.
Malmö University will only review your supporting documents for eligibility once your application has arrived. We do not make individual eligibility assessments via e-mail.
Students applying for master's studies must have completed a Bachelor's degree equivalent of 180 Swedish higher education credits. Students who do not hold the required degree, but are registered for the last semester of a programme leading to such a degree, may be accepted. An official document stating that they are likely to be awarded the degree by the start of the master programme must be sent in with the application.
University credentials - diploma and transcripts should always be official and certified. Enclose authorized translations if diplomas and transcripts are in a language other than the Nordic languages, English, French or German.
Transcript of records from Cameroon, Canada, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, or USA must always be sent directly from the issuing university.

English proficiency requirements
Malmö University requires the equivalent of English course B/6 from Swedish secondary school for admission to master's studies. Depending on educational background, students may be required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge certificate.
