Bachelor's Degree Programmes and Courses at Malmö University

Malmö University offers 6 bachelor's degree programmes and many courses, in English. All of the programmes are in the humanities or social sciences. Malmö University is one of the few universities in Sweden to offer bachelor's programmes to international students.

Tuition Fees for Non-European Students

All our bachelor's programmes cost 60 000 Swedish Crowns (SEK) a year, or approximately 9 625 US Dollars a year - students from outside of the European Union must pay tuition fees. Please note that tuition fee paying students are reserved housing at Malmö University. Students from the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland do not pay tuition fees.

A large number of courses, at the bachelor level, are taught in English at Malmö University. These courses are offered by almost all our schools and faculties, across a wide range of subjects. Undergraduate courses are also referred to as 'first cycle' courses.

Bachelor's degree programme - 3 years of study

A bachelors degree programme takes 3 years of full-time study to obtain and is worth 180 higher education credits. Your programme syllabus will contain the courses which need to be completed. Student services will give you information about how to proceed when you have been accepted on a programme.
