New app for security information about Malmö University premises

2017-02-15

From now on, you can always carry the information you may urgently need if something unexpected occurs on the university premises or grounds. The security department has gathered the most important information in a new app for your smartphone.

The app contains, for example, phone numbers for urgent situations, instructions for evacuation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), links to forms for reporting faults on the premises, and a phone book for university services.

“We have sometimes found it difficult to reach our students, staff and visitors. This is an attempt to gather all the important information in one place,” said security advisor Leif Wulff.

The app is available in both Swedish and English. It is web-based, which means that you will not need to download it to your phone or keep it updated. You simply save it to the home screen on your phone.

“We’re hoping that the app will be of use to both students and staff,” said Peter Olsson, who developed the app’s content.

Feel free to contact Peter Olsson with any feedback or suggestions for further development of the app, either by email to peter.olsson@mah.se or by using the contact form accessible via the app.
