Employing moving image techniques, such as documentary, montage and continuity editing, NARRASCAPE explores, through a series of practice based workshops, the potentiality of the moving image to investigate the gaze, route and map modes of schematization of urban experience.

The two-year AHRC funded research project Narrascape is an international interdisciplinary research network on urban Narrative Environment based primarily on the use of moving image research methods. This project is a collaboration between the University of Cambridge, UK, Nanjing University, China.
