Ministry of Health new regulations for Oral and Dental Health Centers

( dental hospitals) (Sept 2010)


 

According to this new regulation, an Oral and Dental Health Center (ODHC) should put into practice following alternatives;

 

a- At least 90 percent of the children at first to five grade primary school children within its city center should get in a dental prevention programme needing weekly NaF mouth wash in school premises.

 

b- At least 90 percent of the children at first to five grade primary school children within its city center should get in a dental prevention programme needing two times application of fluoride varnish in a year in school premises,

 

c- At least 90 percent of the children at first to third grade primary school children within its city center should get in a dental prevention programme needing 4 times application of neutral fluoride gel with tooth-brush in year in school premises.
